Important Information

Recuitment registration for Panhellenic Council and Interfraternity Council Recruitment is now open. The registration forms are linked to the online Housing application. Every incoming student will automatically be on the mailing list for more information that will be sent out this summer.

 

For Women interested in a traditional, Panhellenic Council, sorority:

Women's Recruitment will begin with hall check in on August 16 and end on August 23. All women must register for Recruitment and stay in University Housing for that week. Those with a residence hall contract will move straight into their assigned room and their Rho Gamma will contact them and provide more information at that time. Women without a residence hall contract (typically non-freshmen) must register for Temporary Housing as part of their Recruitment registration process.

To get more information about joining a Panhellenic sorority, please send an email to Chrissy Ayers, Panhellenic Vice President of Recruitment, at panrecruitment@wsu.edu and check out information from the Panhellenic Council (includng information on what to wear!).

For Men interested in a traditional, Interfraternity Council, fraternity:

Men who choose to join a fraternity, and choose a fraternity that is approved to house freshmen, and choose to live in their chapter house, must complete a summer sign application CONFIRMATION online by no later than 5:00 pm on August 5th, which is the last day of the last ALIVE session. Any man that wants to join a fraternity and move to their chapter after the August 5th deadline, must wait until the end of the Fall semester to do so.  There will be no cancellation fee for breaking the housing contract, but individuals that did not summer sign prior to August 5th must wait to move to their chapter.

For Women and Men interested in a culturally based (National Pan-Hellenic Council and United Greek Council) sororities and fraternities:

These chapters do not participate in Recruitment in August. For information about joining a Culturally Based fraternity or sorority, please send an email to Samantha Armstrong, CFSL Assistant Director at sjarmstrong@wsu.edu.
